VISIT WITH THE WALKERS

I was so excited when I finally got to see Holly, Jeff, and baby Alli again. Jeff was so nice to come look at the electric issue we were having and he brought his two favorite girls with him. I had so much fun visiting with Holly..just like the old days. They have such a beautiful family. I cannot wait until we can get together again! I just love this picture of little Alli. She was sitting on the back of my couch watching TV. :)

BABIES!

Baby Lucas (below) and Baby Alli! They sure do look good together. HA!

Back To Life

So Beautiful!!

My dream! Fulfilled!!!

Whewww! I just finished my first week of school. Boy...oh boy does it take some time to get back into the swing of things. I could take a two day nap. Ha! Summer has gone by so fast that it almost makes me sad. I do look forward to the cool fall air, the beautiful fall U of A trees, and the excitement of the U of A football games!! I must admit I did have a nice summer. Adam and I celebrated our one year anniversary by visiting the most beautifully created place. YES! I finally went to Colorado. It was so amazing and I cannot wait to go back again. These are only a few of our most favorite pictures.

Oh How I Love These Little White Dogs!

Zoe Belle

Baylee Reese

We have two of the most interesting little dogs that anyone could ever own!! We laugh constantly about the things that they do. They are definitely a little on the wild side. We got Zoe a little over a year ago. She is a Chihuahua/Spitz mix. I was actually visiting Karen at her new house when we spotted Zoe. We went on a little bike ride through her neighborhood and discovered these cute free puppies! Adam and I were engaged at the time and just about to say "I DO." I didn't know what he was going to say about a puppy of all things. She was just so friendly I couldn't resist the emergency meeting. :) He was actually mowing Karen's lawn that day. (He loves to mow but mostly to just be outside) We told the nice people that we would take her for a short walk and bring her back in a few. Karen and I opened the backyard fence and let Zoe go. Adam was so surprised when this little white puppy came running through the yard. I knew it was love when he stepped in her poo and he still said she could be ours! She has been such a great dog and she really looks after me when Adam is traveling with work. We decided to get Zoe a friend not long after we kept Piper (a friend's puppy) overnight. Piper and Zoe played non stop and when I returned Piper I had a huge surprise waiting for me at home. Zoe had unzipped/broke all my pillows on the couch and piled the stuffing onto the middle of the floor. Adam and I were going crazy on a daily basis trying to put the stuffing back into the pillows. I am pretty sure she was trying to tell us to bring her little friend back. HAHA That is when we got little Baylee (a Westie Highland Terrier) a few months ago for our one year anniversary. She is still a puppy and she keeps Zoe young. She does not realize just how small she really is and they are BFFs. Thank goodness...no more fixing pillows!

Baby Lucas Remington

I am so excited about my first blog post. I have been waiting over nine months to make this first post. Really! My little nephew has finally arrived!! On Wednesday the 22nd I of July I got a frantic phone call from my mom at 3:34 in the morning. She quickly told me that Felicia was having contractions that were very close. I rushed over to my parent's (thank Heaven's I only live 10 minutes away now) and we rushed to the hospital. When they checked Felicia out she was dialated to four. This was around 6:30 in the morning. Next she jumped to a six and still had no drugs. (They told her that she could have the drugs as soon as she got into a room..I still don't agree with this) So I went into the area where they had checked her to see if I could cheer her up. By this time..we had only been at the hospital for about 45 minutes. Bless her heart she was in so much pain. I felt so bad for the girl because she was trying so hard to do her best! While I was talking to her she had this major contraction. My pep talk must have really been insightful. The girlie jumped to a nine!! They rushed her into the closest room possible. She kept saying she needed to push. The doctor gave her two options: 1) Break her water so that the baby can possibly arrive quicker 2) They could give Felicia drugs but the doctor said that the meds may not even have time to take affect. Felicia chose to have them break her water. This is where the doctor realized that Lucas had turned at the last minute . They ran her through the room and out the doors as soon as they could! This was sad because I know she was really scared. I know that this situation happened for a reason.
Lucas was born at 8:44 in the morning. He weighed 7 lbs and 11 oz. He was 21 inches long. He is such a beautiful baby! He only cries when dirty or hungry. Adam and I just think the world of our two nephews! Adam's sister also has a boy. He is such a cute little man. His name is Elijah Moore Schaffer. He was born on Jan 8th of 2009. Don't worry I will be adding more!!!
